Editorial headed 'The Testing Time' discusses the taking over of services previously under British control by the Provisional Government. With a group of items including a typed signed letter from Maire Comerford (formerly of Cumann na mBan) to Francis McKay, Aug. 1964, mentioning aspects of the Catholic-Protestant conflict in Northern Ireland, and a range of memorabilia: a tricolour lapel badge for the Tercentenary of Owen Roe, dated in manuscript Sept. 1949, a facsimile of the postage stamp issued during the 1916 Rising, and a blank 'Card of Comradeship' (organisation not named), a De Valera for President leaflet, and a blank sheet of I.R.A.
