The sale comprises 540 lots, with a large proportion unreserved. Highlights from the late Anne Bullitt’s estate include: fine quality period French furniture including a pair of giltwood fauteuils (Est: €3,000-4,000); an early Victorian mahogany extending dining table on a robust turned centre pillar with quadruped base (€6,000-10,000); drawings of historical significance by early twentieth century socialist illustrators Boardman Robinson and Art Young; a white marble statue of Diana the Huntress, 19th Century, 169cm high (Est: €15,000-20,000); and a number of watercolour on silk 19th Century Chinese scrolls depicting figures, animals and plants.
