A COBALT BLUE GLAZED PORCELAIN INCENSE BURNER OR CENSER

It rests on a ring foot and has a globular compressed body with a slightly everted rim. The shoulder is applied with two handles molded as mythical beasts. The outer part and the inner part are covered with a dark cobalt blue glaze, with the exception of the top of the rim and the footrim. The base bears several old collector labels: #4, ‘Par K’Hang - Hsi’, ‘1662-1723’ and ‘XVIIe K’ang- Hsi 1662-1723’.
