PATRICK CANTON, CORK CITY BATTALION, A COMPANY, 1916 An important personal archive including; a handwritten Christmas letter to his ''Dear Dad'', dated 7th Dec' 1921, from Parkhurst Prison, his autograph album from Mountjoy Jail, 1920, including those of Arthur Griffith, Eamon Duggan and many more; his prison bible; his Military Service Pension Cert; and a collection of photographs including one of Terence MacSwiney's funeral and another depicting ''Irish Volunteers, Cork City Battalion 1916'', an interesting mounted print of a photographic collage, reading ''The group, photographed at the old Headquarters, Sheares' Street, represents the surviving members (with deceased Senior Officers) of the Cork City Battalion of the Irish Volunteers, with key of names of all men depicted.
