A DISPLAY MODEL OF THE THREE MAST 'JEANIE JOHNSTON' BARQUE SHIP, painted red to waterline, with timber hull and decking, canvas sails, inscribed with title. 65.5cm wide The Jeanie Johnston is a replica of the original trade ship built in Canada in 1847. By 1848 the Jeanie Johnston began taking Irish emigrants to North America, in search of survival, away from poverty and famine stricken condition in Ireland.
