McCreaThese five maps together form the Grand Jury map of County Monaghan. This the only one of these large scale maps where the individual sheets are not drawn in such a way so that the sheets may be joined together to form a unified whole. Of varying sizes the five represent the five baronies of the County. The credit for the engraving is given to messrs Henecy and FitzPatrick on three of the five, but it may be safely assumed that they also engraved the other two. Like most Grand Jury maps, these haven't appeared at auction for a decade or more.
