A GEORGE III SILVER TWIN HANDLE PRESENTATION CUP AND COVER, London c.1803, makers mark of Robert Hennell I & Samuel Hennell, the domed lid with urn finial and band of bright-cut engraving, the urn shaped body with band of foliate bright-cut decoration and en graved with wreaths to either side, on wreath containing a crest, the other containing an inscription "Presented by the Non Commd Officers & Privates of the 2nd Regt MLVJ to George Reid Esq, their Captain as a Testimony of Respect & esteem for him as an Officer & a Gentleman 1808" raised on a stepped circular foot (c.33 troy ozs) 30.5cm high
