A GEM-SET RING BY JACOB HULL CIRCA 1970, the textured white metal mount, centred by a polished green stone, signed J.Hull, ring size O
Jacob Hull was a Danish designer of modernist jewellery. He became famous in the early 1970s when his work was exhibited internationally and was on sale in Illums Bolighus, the flagship retail outlet for Danish design. He was also a sculptor and a part of his work was accepted at the annual Charlottenburg exhibition. He travelled through many countries and also lived in Finland but sadly died in 1993 in Denmark, as a victim of a fire in his house.
