Claudio Viscardi is a dual Irish-Swiss citizen who has been living on the Beara Peninsula in West Cork for a number of years.
His first solo show was held in Dublins Third Policeman Gallery in 1980, and he has had numerous Irish and international exhibitions since, his most recent ones were held in Abu Dhabi in 2014.
He creates multi-layered compositions of infinite depth, juxtaposing sculptures, complex architectural and geometric structures with elements of landscape.
