in the Baroque style, surmounted with a winged figure allegorical of the arts, standing holding sculptural implements above a two tier frieze set with masks and quatrefoil motifs, the circular gilt metal dial with enamel tabs inked with Roman numerals, over a panel of armour trophies and flanked by figures of 17th century soldiers on an outset base with dragon and pierced scroll feet, 47cm high, 29cm wide x 13cm deep
