A Large Chinese Export Porcelain Dinner Service 18th Century, each piece uniformly decorated with twin trellis blue borders, within gilt edged rims, painted with an elaborate crest reserve , filled with the initials G.H for Col. Gilbert Hogg.
Comprising:
A large Oblong Tureen and Cover
Ten Oblong Meat/Serving dishes of various sizes
A pair of Sauce Tureens, covers and stands
A large Straining Panel (fitting to the largest oblong dish)
Two Sauce Boats
Four Trencher Salt Cellars
Three Deep Oblong Dishes
Sixteen 'Silver' shaped flat dishes
Ten Soup Bowls
Five large oval Serving Dishes
With hand written note from Miss Frances M. Hogg ' Hogg Gilbert Captain in East India Service, from whom we inherited the dinner service marked G.H.'
