Irish Art
Irish Art Auctioneers - Adam's of Dublin, Ireland
Adam's were the first fine art auctioneers to explore the potential of Irish art by instituting specialist sales of Irish paintings and sculpture. We began, in 1973 to hold our now famous quarterly sales in our St. Stephens Green auction rooms. Now forty years later we continue to celebrate our passion for Irish Art in producing catalogues that are more akin to reference books and mounting some of the best sales of Irish Art held anywhere in the world.
As a long established firm, we pride ourselves in providing the most professional and personal service. Whether you are thinking of selling or are seeking advice on buying our team is always on hand to advise you. From right across the spectrum of Irish paintings, sculpture, drawings & watercolours we hold many world and Irish records for some of the most celebrated Irish artists including a recent record for a work by Jack B Yeats, entitled Fair Day Mayo which made €1,000,000, the highest price ever paid at auction for a work of art in Ireland.
Our Irish art sales have grown from a market with domestic roots to one with an international audience with bidders participating from all around the globe, in person, on the telephone and on the internet.
