A good copy in modern half calf. This runs to 63 pages and is part of the propaganda war between Parliament and the King. In addition it published some significant documents, one of which issuing from the Supreme Council of the Confederate Catholics of Ireland is a naval commission dated ''Kilkennie the last of December 1642'' to ''our wellbeloved friend Captaine Francis Oliver, native of Flanders having received good testimony of his sufficiency and integrity to be captain of the ship called Saint Michaell the Archangel of burden an hundred and twentie lasts or tuns or thereabouts''.
