Gerard Dillon (1916-1971) Conlig, Co. Down Watercolour, 23 x 30cm (9 x 11.75'') Signed Provenance: Gifted to the family of the present owner by the artist. In the early 1950s there was a small artistic community in Conlig, the location of the present work. George Campbell and Daniel O'Neill were also present and the three men held mutual admiration for one another, keeping in touch until their deaths.
