This shows the celebrated actor Montague Talbot [1774 1831] dancing in a farce. His popularity led to this plate being pirated by McCleary. Charles Maguire was a son of the engraver Patrick Maguire and assisted him in various portraits, especially for the Hibernian Magazine.
