From the estate of the late Senator Michael Butler Yeats When the RHA selection committee rejected the works Yeats had submitted for their annual exhibition in 1901, Sarah Purser- herself a successful artist- organised a separate loan exhibtion of the works of John Butler Yeats and Nathaniel Hone, two painters who she felt had been unfairly neglected.
