WILLIAM MCEVOY (FL.1858-1891) A View Over Dublin from Kinsealy Oil on canvas, 49 x 43cms (19.5 x 16.5'') Signed McEvoy was a landscape painter known originally for his views of Lord Powerscourt's demesne, which he exhibited at the RHA from 1858 onwards. From his home at 14 Old Mountpleasant he continued to exhibit mainly landscapes from around Dublin. By 1866 he had moved to London but continued to exhibit here.
