**Please note Estimate had been revised*** Charles Lamb RHA (1893 - 1964) 'Aeraíocht i Ros-A-Mhíl' [Open Air Entertainment] Oil on board, 33 X 37 cm, (13 X 15½'') Signed This is a sean-nós dancer dancing to the accompaniment of a traditional fiddler in the open gaelic football pitch. The artist's daughter Laillí was at that Feis with her father in 1947. She remembers cycling over the four miles to the pitch on a beautiful hot day. He sketched this scene while sitting on a rock. Then he worked on the picture in the winter following. It remained in the studio for a long time The sean-nós dancer has removed his cap as a mark of respect for the viewers.
