An emerald ring, the cushion-cut Columbian emerald within a four-claw setting, to an 18 carat gold hoop, ring size Accompanied by a Gubelin Gem Lab certificate stating that this emerald revealed characteristics consistent with those of emeralds originating from Columbia, numbered 14037251, dated 7th March 2014 Columbian emeralds are synonymous with quality and beauty. The lush green colour enhanced by a delicate blend of blue is one of nature's finest creations. The 16th Century witnessed the arrival of the favoured Emerald to the west. The most prized member of the Beryl family. Emeralds are found in locations throughout the world. However, emeralds particular to Columbia are deemed to be of superior quality. Their unique body colour is renowned for its deep colour saturation. Emeralds typically contain a garden of natural inclusions. To observe an emerald relatively clear of inclusions is rare.
