AN IRISH WHITE METAL BROOCH IN THE CELTIC-REVIVAL STYLE, the annular brooch decorated with Celtic band decoration, knots entwined with serpent heads and bosses, with further geometric motifs, stamped EGAN, SILVER, CORK. 9.5cm wide After the revival of the Cork silver industry at the beginning of the 20th century, the firm of William Egan & Sons produced accomplished items of hand-wrought silver initially in the Celtic revival style.
