A VICTORIAN SILVER SHAPED CIRCULAR SALVER, London 1896, mark of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., 112 Regent St., London (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman), with gadroon, scallop and acanthus rim, interposed by anthemia, the plain central reserve with crest and motto "SOLA VIRTUS NOBILITAS" (virtue is the only nobility), raised on three scroll feet (c.32.5ozs). 32cm diameter, 3.5cm high
