A LARGE IRISH GEORGE III SILVER SALVER, Dublin 1791, mark of Joseph Jackson, of circular form, the central reserve later engraved with floral, foliate and scroll decoration incorporating eagles, lion heads and an angel, raised on four scroll feet, (c.2,579.8g). 50.5cm diameter

The 6th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards were formed in 1689 and were amalgamated with the 5th Dragoon Guards (Princess Charlotte of Wales') in 1922 to form the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards which served in World War II and in the Korean War.
