A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER CHOCOLATE POT, Dublin (lacking date mark), maker's mark rubbed, of baluster form, with turned timber handle at right angle, and domed hinged lid, the lid and body decorated with stylised demi-fluted design, alternating flutes in the form of sprouting flowers, raised on spreading circular foot, baring inscription to the underside of the foot 'Presented by Jas. Philcox Junr. to his God daughter Martha Hannah Fry' (c.8.5 troy ozs including handle). 14cm high, 15.5cm wide
