Hedy Martinellis is a contemporary Italian jewellery designer based in Rome, Italy. She is known for her unique bold statement pieces which are handmade using a range of precious stones as well as unconventional material, such as steel or iron. As in the case of this lot, she regularly combines the use of precious stones with harsher materials, balancing the delicate white and brown diamonds with the net-like chain of the belt to create a very unique avantgarde look.
