Collection of Enlarged Photographs 1916-1924 A very good collection of 42 enlarged photographic prints relating to the Rising, War of Independence and subsequent period, circa 1916-1924, mostly about 35.5 x 61 cm, mounted for display on stiff card with pierced corners, mostly with printed captions, eight recently framed, the others loose. An impressive collection, including some well-known views and others less familiar, evidently assembled for exhibition purposes perhaps in the 1930s. Subjects include destruction after the Rising, crowds at political meetings and ceremonial events, British troops in Dublin, Republican leaders, Aonach Tailteann 1924, etc.
