John O'Reilly (b.1976) Piggy Bank Oil on canvas, 20 x 20cm Signed with initials verso John O'Reilly has contributed to an extremely vibrant and creative art scene within Dublin and Europe. Working with oils and aerosols he paints contemporary objects and landscapes. His abstract paintings are influenced by graffiti art and bring an urban experience to the canvas. He has been painting for over fifteen years and is largely self taught but has learned techniques from other artists. His work can be found in the public collections of Dublin City Council, Irish Rail and the Electric Picnic Festival in Offaly.
