When Rákóczi and his son Tony arrived in Ireland in the summer of 1939 they took a cottage on Killiney Harbour at Delphi, Co. Mayo just several miles from Leenane. Here they were joined by Kenneth Hall and stayed here until March 1940 when they moved to Dublin.
