Provenance: Originally in the collection of Emily Persse (nee Brooke) (1890-1953), daughter of Rose Barton's sister, Emily Alma Brooke; later in the collection of Margaret (Midge) Brooke (1895-1981) who was married to Emily's brother, John; and then to their son, Lt. Cdr. Geoffrey Brooke (1920-2009); and thence by descent to the current owner.
