A LARGE COLLECTION OF SILVER ITEMS BY WILLIAM EGAN & SONS, CORK, comprising:
- a plain silver sauce boat, Dublin 1964, with reeded rim, c scroll handle, and raised on three shell capped hoof feet. 21.5cm wide over handle and spout;
- another smaller sauce boat of similar design, Dublin 1964, (damaged). 16.5cm wide over handle and spout;
- two small circular card trays, Dublin 1966, one inscribed James, the other inscribed H. Each 10.5cm diameter;
- a plain silver toast rack, Dublin 1965, with loop handle. 9.25cm wide
- a small plain cylindrical beaker, Dublin 1973, the scroll handle embossed with flowering vine. 4.5cm high;
- a commemorative letter opener, Dublin 1966, the shaped terminal embossed with the Dublin City coat of arms. 17.5cm long;
- and a small plain caddy spoon, Dublin 1978, with short cinquefoil handle, the plain circular bowl hammered on the underside. 7.5cm long, (c.840g all in). (8)
