Arthur H Twells1921 - 1996

Arthur Twells was born in Nottingham in 1921. He was granted a scholarship to Nottingham College of Art at the age of 11 which he left to work in textile design, before joining the Navy. It was during his service that he travelled to Derry in Ireland, a place he would later settle with his wife.
