Dorothy Blackham1896 - 1975

Blackham was born in Dublin and studied art at the RHA Schools and Goldsmith College,London. She produced designs for the Yeats sisters and the Cuala Press. She was a regular exhibitor with the RHA and Watercolour Society of Ireland. She was a member of the Dublin Painters' Society from 1936 and started exhibiting with the the White Stag Group from 1940, probably being introduced to the group by her friend Mainie Jellett.
