Harry Scully RHAc.1863 - 1935

Born in Cork, Harry Scully studied in both London and Cork. Travelling widely throughout his career to artistic centres such as Newlyn, Normandy and Florence, Scully still found time to teach. His pupils included Lady Kate Dobbin and Robert Gibbings. Along with exhibiting in the RHA and the RA in London, Scully exhibited some Breton scenes at a loan exhibition at the Belfast Museumin 1913 and his work was included in an Exhibition of Irish Art in Brussels in 1930.
