Jason Ellis1965 -

Jason Ellis studied sculpture in Sussex in the mid 1980s and worked subsequently in the conservation profession. Ellis cites the work of modern masters Constantine Brancusi, Barbara Hepworth and Gerda Frömel as sources of inspiration for his own practice. Ellis now works and exhibits extensively in Ireland and has sculptures in the State Art Collection and the Bank of Ireland Collection. One of his most significant projects was a major public sculpture commissioned by University College Dublin. Read more
