British painter, photographer and film maker Nevill Johnson moved to Belfast in 1934. He then moved to Dublin in 1949, where he lived for the next five years. He quickly became a major artistic figure among the fraternity of atists, poets and playwrights centred in and around Baggot Street in Dublin at that time.
