KATHLEEN CLARKE A similar but larger carved oak box with a silver plaque reading 'Do'n chaoin-mhnaoi chalma Caitlin baintreabhach Thomais Ui Chleirigh, Toisc a dilseacht do'n tSaorstat, Muintir Luimnigh do thug.' ['Presented to Mrs. Kathleen Clarke by the people of Limerick in recognition of her steadfast fidelity to the Republic.'] Similarly but less elaborately carved to previous item, with dates 1916 and 1921, intertwined serpents, King John's Castle etc., unlined. 9 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 7 ins.
